Has any of you managed to get HTML completion with Corfu? CSS files seem to auto-complete fine for me but HTML files don't. I have the "web mode" package installed and enabled even though I don't think Corfu uses that for auto-completion like Company does. Beside Corfu I have the cape package installed.

Corfu is just a completion UI. It doesn’t provide the completions. So if native M-Tab emacs completion works, so will corfu. Look into your mode’s completion-at-point-functions.

Thank you. I remember "company" having an option to set a backend that accepted webmode (if I recall correctly). Anyway, you're right. I'll take a look at what you suggested.

I think that's what I'm looking for.
>Cape provides the cape-company-to-capf adapter to reuse Company backends in Corfu.
Just came across it in the documentation. I'll have to check it. I'm wondering if I need to have company enabled to use those backends because I was planning on getting rid of company.
Anyway I'm pretty satisfied with Corfu so far.

Yep company is both a UI and a collection of many backends using its own custom API. Corfu is much simpler, and relies on standard emacs completion. Maybe you are using company-web? cape can indeed adapt such company backends to pretend to be standard emacs completion functions. Worth a try anyway.

Did you get the adapter to work
