modus themes doesn't work with git fringe mode

I have this black line in modus themes, other themes works fine. Do you know how to fix this? https://preview.redd.it/5bae4i67fhf91.png?width=534&format=png&auto=webp&s=86c98d09dc7c75a27a916285f376f4f00323789b

For getting help or reporting issuses, the author of the themes recommends contacting them directly instead of asking on other sites, since they do not browse all such sites. See here: https://protesilaos.com/codelog/2022-07-24-report-issues-official-channels/

You are using diff-hl or git gutter?

git gutter

thanks

I have not investigated much but last time I tried out a modus theme I thought to myself: "Mmh I wonder if that black line is due to a superfluous `:inverse-video` somewhere" I would check whether the fringe faces are indeed inversed in some places
