[emacs-groundup snapshot](https://preview.redd.it/kafk7f9wp3f91.png?width=1030&format=png&auto=webp&s=ea5319e2533ed605e986106ed9eb6f82502e8c04) Hi, A while ago, I had introduced [emacs-groundup](https://gitlab.com/public-repositories/emacs-groundup) \- an emacs spin aimed at elisp novices. Happy to announce its first versioned release! To re-iterate its objectives: 1. Provides a solid, ootb workflow for task and project management. 2. Pre-configured for Julia and python programming - supports both REPL and notebook based workflows. 3. Ideal for users looking to 'try emacs'. It can be used as-is by setting only a handful of (including zero) parameters. 4. May interest 'experienced' elisp novices and/or emacs novices 'looking to get serious'. The code is amply commented, and package configurations are as decoupled as possile. Perfect to learn how to write elisp and how to configure some of the more commonly-used packages. Give it a go! All user feedback and contributions are welcome.

Hi, this is really great and I'm already enjoying using it. The only issue I have is, seems like some custom fonts are not showing up, particularly for def python keyword. I've created an issue and attached more info but I'm not sure where to start, thanks!

possible to disable evil-mode ?
cellular--automaton · 2022-08-02 03:43
I've designed the keybindings to be as productive as I could. So I'm afraid designing equally productive non-evil bindings is too big a task for me at the moment :(

Thanks for raising the issue. And glad you're finding it useful!
