How to disable case sensitivity for completion-at-point?

I am using `completion-at-point` in OrgRoam. But it acts case sensitiv. I am not sure which component/package of Emacs is responsible for that. How can I modify that behavior or in which docu I have to look into?

Try the variable `completion-ignore-case`.

Or, if you have just one completion function (a CAPF) you'd like to be case-insensitive, use cape and wrap it with cape-capf-case-fold.

Sorry I don't understand that.

Thanks. `(setq completion-ignore-case t)` worked

If you examine the variable completion-at-point-functions, you’ll see the actual functions providing the completion candidates in your buffer. One of them will be related to org-roam. Cape is a package that among other things let’s you modify such functions to your liking: filter, tweak, combine, make case-insensitive, etc. Some [examples](https://github.com/minad/cape#other-capf-transformers) at the bottom.

I just want to add this is very "intelligent". It works only if you use lower case letters as search terms. When you use upper case letters it only matches upper case and ignores the lower case. Very interesting.
