I use Arch with XFCE and xfce4-power-manager handles when to sleep, and I can even create some custom rules in /etc/systemd/sleep.conf to do things like: sleep until X hrs then hibernate.
Will this work on EXWM, or I need some special settings?
Thanks

You can start xfce4-power-manager in EXWM and it will work like in xfce

I can confirm this, using StumpWM on Manjaro with XFCE4 installed. Took me a while to find it but simple as running this script from my `on-reboot` script:
#!/usr/bin/env bash
pgrep --full '[x]fce4-power-manager' &> /dev/null && exit 0
xfce4-power-manager &> /dev/null &
You need the `procps` package for `pgrep` (should be installed by default, I think).
