An accentuated Emacs experiment (à la macOS)

tl;dr Experimenting with the [accent](https://github.com/elias94/accent) package to achieve a macOS-like experience (press and hold for accents). https://xenodium.com/an-accentuated-emacs-experiment

Very nice! I also emulate the behavior of German umlauts in Emacs on MacOS, but I use the classic keybindings for it (alt+u). https://emacs.christianbaeuerlein.com/my-general-config.html#org3de8845 Yours looks way nicer though!

Thanks for sharing! Always fun to take a peek at configs.

It's not clear to me what this gives you that input methods don't.
