Very *minor* suggestion: Have the new UI be on top, not behind. Or show the old UI narrower at top, wider at bottom. Or do both. And maybe show the new UI with a light background (which didn't even exist way back when).

It's great, but suffers from too many fonts! I'd definitely change the font used for the largest block of text.

It will soak up a lot of ink if someone prints the poster.

Where is the conference going to be? If it's online only, you should state it explicitly.

I'd also like to re-submit [my design from last year](https://emacsconf.org/i/emacsconf-2021-poster-alphapapa.png) (actually, I submitted it for 2020, but it wasn't used that year). Unfortunately, it was kind of buried at the bottom of the page: https://emacsconf.org/2021/poster/ I'd be happy to update it for 2022, of course. I designed it with real-world use in mind, e.g. being posted on a whiteboard at the front of a classroom, where it needs to be attention-grabbing from far away and have readable details up-close.

Yes, and gray is a bit drab, rather than presenting a cheerful, "joyful" appearance.
