Do I still need to load the Noto Color Emoji in Emacs 28.1?

I had this line in my init.el: (set-fontset-font t '(#x1f300 . #x1fad0) (font-spec :family "Noto Color Emoji")) I was wondering if it's still required in Emacs 28.1 or I can remove it.

I tried and it seems to me that Noto Colo Emoji is picked up by default since Emacs 28.1 which means there is no need to define that line anymore. I was just asking because I'm using Fedora and Emacs was updated through the Fedora repo a few days ago. It took quite long for them to include the new release into their repo but finally happened. So I removed the font definition for emoji and mu4e still displays the emojis but I thought things were cached from my previous Emacs version 27.
