What keystroke can be used to open links in orgmode?

I have been using the mouse-clicks to open links in my org documents and realized that I don't have a way to open them with the keyboard. What native command can do that if the cursor is placed in the link?

Check your "org-open-at-point" keybinding. In my emacs it's bound to "C-c C-o" maybe I change it. In order to look your keybinding you can use "describe-function" and enter "org-open-at-point".

I've globally bound `C-x f` to 'find-file-at-point': ``` (global-set-key (kbd "C-x f") 'find-file-at-point) ``` Also works with URLs and in any major mode, not just org mode.

With doom you can just hit enter when your cursor is on the link, but I’m not sure how it got that functionality.

As u/yigitemres mentioned, you use the `org-open-at-point` function which is bound by default to `C-c C-o`. You may also want to configure the variable `org-return-follows-link`: setting it to `t` makes `RET` follow links (outside of tables).

Good tip!
