Have you looked at [the manual](https://orgmode.org/manual/Images.html)
?
Is there something wrong with M-x org-toggle-inline-images?

That doesn't address the image width issue. It's also poorly explained. I wrote my article for others like me, who just want a quick, no-nonsense setup.

I just refresh the org-file. With my setup no commands are even needed.

Neat write-up. I also love the simplicity and look of your blog.

It'd be a good idea to share what you believe to be poorly explained so it can be addressed by the org maintainers.
Also, you can set `org-image-actual-width` to a list with a float between 0-2 and it will be set to that proportion of the window's text width. I find this to be quite useful.
i.e. `(setq org-image-actual-width '(0.8))`

Fair enough :). I agree that attr_* stuff could be explained better in the manual.
There are docs about inline images [in html export](https://orgmode.org/manual/Images-in-HTML-export.html#Images-in-HTML-export).
But I am not sure if attr_org: is documented. While, it is not exactly a secret how to do it, being doing it myself for the long time, it could be maybe pulled into image part as well. As suggested, send a mail to org mail list and suggest improvement for the manual. Even better, edit the manual yourself and send them a patch.
Also, just as a note, it can become a bit sluggish if you have several big images and resizing them in the org doc.

Thanks! 😊

That's an interesting option. I don't remember whether I came across that; I did this over a month ago and just had time for the write-up yesterday. It doesn't work for me personally, since it makes pictures taken vertically much larger than those taken horizontally. I don't mind setting the width manually each time; good to know about that though.

It will still be overwritten by manual settings. So it can still save you some time.

Indeed, thank you.
