So let’s say I’m working on directory A and then I want to switch to working in directory B. When I’m in directory B and I open treemacs, it will still show the file tree from directory A? I’ve tried a couple different things like killing buffers but nothing has worked.
How can I make it so that when I open treemacs it will always open the directory tree that I’m currently in??

treemacs-add-project-to-workspace
Is what you need to run. Add folder b,.

Ohh I see, so if I wanted to delete a workspace and create a new one what would that command be?

Or you can run treemacs-remove-project-from-workspace, remove folder a, then add the folder above a and b.
