Using fido-mode when inside eval-expression(M-:)

I recently switched from ivy to vertico and it was a great experience. Recently I also gave fido-vertical-mode a shot since it comes built-in to Emacs 28. And it does everything I would like. There's only one problem, how do I trigger completion when I'm inside eval-expression prompt This is the fido config I use (use-package icomplete :ensure nil :straight (:type built-in) :config (setq completion-ignore-case t completion-cycle-threshold t completion-flex-nospace nil completion-show-help nil completion-pcm-complete-word-inserts-delimiters t read-answer-short t read-file-name-completion-ignore-case t read-buffer-completion-ignore-case t resize-mini-windows t) (fido-vertical-mode t) ;; Copied from ;; https://github.com/minad/vertico#completion-at-point-and-completion-in-region (setq completion-in-region-function (lambda (&rest args) (apply (if nil #'consult-completion-in-region #'completion--in-region) args)))) Is there a way to enable tab completion inside **eval-expression** using **fido-mode**

Does the following work? (setq completion-in-region-function (lambda (&rest args) (apply (if icomplete-mode ;; <== was `nil' #'consult-completion-in-region #'completion--in-region) args)))) I did not test it though. I do not use either consult or `fido-mode`.
