[Doom] How do I get rid of these snippets?

[deleted] · 2022-06-17 13:42
Arch, 28.1 I have copilot.el installed and these snippets just won't go away. it happens whenever I have :lang web enabled. I even have :editor snippets commented out, but they still get in the way of the autocomplete. it's not even an html file, it's a mjs file inside a vue project. basically if i type async f, i get "unction copiedCodeFromAnotherDev() {" suggested. That works fine, but when I press tab, I'll get a < f >< /f > tag instead of the completion. Why??

Because Doom explicitly binds TAB in insert state: [modules/config/default/+evil-bindings.el#L41](https://github.com/doomemacs/doomemacs/blob/49ef0fa8dd191cff6451e24692034207816ace0e/modules/config/default/%2Bevil-bindings.el#L41) You can configure it like this so that `copilot.el` takes precedence over yasnippet. ```elisp (map! :i [tab] (cmds! (bound-and-true-p copilot--overlay) #'copilot-accept-completion (yas-maybe-expand-abbrev-key-filter 'yas-expand) #'yas-expand-from-trigger-key)) ```
