Display the main `ESC` menu in evil mode?

I need the main `ESC` menu in evil-mode, but the `ESC` menu in evil-mode simply switches to evil's normal mode. Does `evil-mode` have a key for activating that menu? Is that mode also some kind of help screen? Although `which-key` displays its contents they don't seem to respond to keyboard navigation or mouse clicks until you exit it and apply the commands in buffers.

You can run `evil-execute-in-emacs-state` before `ESC`, or you can map the ESC prefix with something like `(define-key evil-normal-state-map (kbd "g ESC") 'ESC-prefix)`, this way you have the Esc keybindings in by pressing `g ESC` in normal mode.

Thanks, seems to be exactly what I need

I suppose I could use another key besides the `g` key. Is there a way to get a list of keys which are already configured in evil normal mode and choose another key? `(define-key evil-normal-state-map (kbd "g ESC") 'ESC-prefix)` can this have a more `use-package-y` option? I've already added it the use-package clause as it is.
