I am struggling whether to use capitalized drawer keywords or lowercase?
So use `#+TITLE:` or `#+title:` or `:PROPERTIES:` or `:properties:`?
Any opinions?

Lowercase, there was a discussion at some point on the ML you can find by poking around.

The properties drawer is a bit different, but the standard for keywords (outside of the manual) is lowercase.

It addresses lower cased keywords. The PROPERTIES still remain all-caps because that's how Org mode inserts it automatically. I wouldn't mind them becoming lower cased as well.

Just use lowercase, It's looks cooler and is easier to type aswell with Caps Lock or Shift
