Running a helm-make process in vterm

As per title, how can I run a makefile compilation process invoked via helm-make in vterm instead of the default term buffer (which can be a bit glitchy with some std output)?

Isn't it a compilation buffer? Anyway, I would prefer the output is in the compilation buffer instead of vterm (I don't know if that is even possible - sorry can't help you there) as the latter is not a quite regular buffer. It makes it hard to work with the output. To solve your problem, though, is to tell the external program to make the output a plain one. For instance, gradle has this "--console=plain" argument. I hope the one you use has something like this.
