eglot doesn't work with java

I have eglot enabled for rust, c, c++ and python with no problem, I simply had to add `(add-hook 'language-mode-hook 'eglot-ensure)` and it worked but it doesn't for java, any idea why?

Because java bad. You may have better luck with lsp-java.

Which server are you using? I had lots of issues even with lsp-mode, then it got WAY better when I manually installed a more recent JDTLS: the one you get automatically when you start LSP is old and (imho) very buggy. Can this be your case too?

Java sucks. Let eglot-java do the installation, that worked for me
