xwidgets cannot render local file on Linux

I compile Emacs with xwidgets, and it is working fine when I am browsing the Internet. However, I am not able to use xwidget-webkit to open any local file with the url as "file:///home/user/test.html". Does anyone observes the same bug? On macOS, this is fine.

So is it an arch Linux specific bug? Or do I need to modify the source code of emacs to make it works?

I encountered it on Fedora 36. Just running the commands described in the post fixed the problem for me: ``` rm ~/.local/share/mime/packages/user-extension-html.xml update-mime-database ~/.local/share/mime ```
