Help Gnus is syncing 1 email at the time

My lappy had a unexpected shutdown and now syncing my email with Gnus return one email at the time. Its been 2 days now that I didnt sync my email so there must be like 50+ emails in there. What could make Gnus sync only 1 email at the time? Everytime I run `gnus-group-get-new-news` it sync only 1 email :/

You could try turning on debugging to see if there is an error. Worst case you breakpoint the update function and step through it to see what happens
