Sweet!

I like small, focused, packages like this!
So what do you have in mind for the below?
> When search finishes, a user-defined function is called with the filename and the DOI as arguments.
Perhaps a function that then uses that doi to look up the bibliographic data for that source and add it to a bibliography file?

My plan, once I have a minute, is to pass the DOI to zotero-translation-server and have a new entry added to ebib. For some of the pieces, see: [https://github.com/localauthor/.emacs.d/blob/main/my-lisp/ebib-zotero.el](https://github.com/localauthor/.emacs.d/blob/main/my-lisp/ebib-zotero.el)
(Note: the functions there have some local dependencies, notably a custom 'ebib-open' function, so it's not exactly a ready-to-go package.)
I would then have the file renamed appropriately and moved into my citar library files.
Hopefully soon enough emacs will be able to do my research and writing for me too... :)

On Emacs 29, I get this error:
`Debugger entered--Lisp error: (wrong-number-of-arguments (lambda (file doi) (message "%s : %s" file doi)) 0)`
Haven't tested on 28.
Nicolas-Rougier · 2022-06-02 21:21
Exactly that yes. Combining org-imenu, ol-bibtex and pdf-drop-mode.
Nicolas-Rougier · 2022-06-02 21:22
It may have been fixed with latest commit. Else, can you open an issue?
art_else · 2022-06-02 22:32
Yes, that fixes it :)
I do get another error:
```
I/O Error: Couldn't open file '/home/nn/Downloads/The%20Lure%20of%20Whitehead%20-%20Nicholas%20Gaskill.pdf': No such file or directory. [2 times]
Contacting host: search.crossref.org:80
/home/nn/Downloads/The%20Lure%20of%20Whitehead%20-%20Nicholas%20Gaskill.pdf : 10.1007/978-1-4842-6394-5_10
```
First it cannot open the file, then does get the DOI. Note that the I/O error only happens with filenames with spaces that are replaced by %20 codes, so should work?
Shall I add it as an issue to GH?

Yes please.

I would love this! Currently my way of saving research articles is a bit cumbersome:
1. Have Zotero running in background
2. When stumbling upon an interesting paper, use Zotero connector plugin to save.
3. Using better-bibtex Zotero renames the files, but only if it is able to get the metadata out (which it does for 95% papers)
4. Zotero continuously updates the libraries in an external bib file, which I load via helm-bibtex
5. I create a TODO entry with the paper in my to_read.org file using helm-bibtex.
I would love to have steps 2-5 automated, and a Zotero-free solution (Zotero takes a bit too much RAM for my liking).
