mu4e unable to render an email

Hi friends. I use mu4e with my employer's exchange email and for the last few years it's work flawlessly. Today I got an email I can't render, it gives the following error when I open the email and displays only the raw data: error in process filter: shr-tag-a: Args out of range: 15966, 15967 error in process filter: Args out of range: 15966, 15967 It's not spam, it's an email from a known contact that I get regularly. Just wondering if anyone's seen anything like this or knows a solution. Using emacs 28.1 on arch.

It'd probably be more useful to file a proper bug report at mu's repository. You'll need to provide more information, though.

It would help if you had a bigger stack trace, at least.

Yeah, sorry; guess this was just more of a "hey anyone seen this error before" post than a "join me on an epic quest to solve this issue" post. No worries, it was one email, probably something wacky with that email.

I see. I won't lie, I'm a little intrigued. Perhaps someone will one day send me a horrifically broken email :)

So I did a trace today and started to post it, but it's chock full of email addresses and the contents of the email which are all work-related so I can't really post it here. I tried to redact the bits but it's a lot to go through.

That's a real bummer. I understand you cannot post stuff like that :)
