Do you guys get this too?
It seems that by default (lossage-size) returns 300 but I'm getting 150 lines max in the history shown by view-lossage, and for some reason it fluctuates with subsequent calls as well.
With (lossage-size 1000) I get around 500 lines of history.
Is there a logic to this that I am not getting?

lossage is not meant for storing everything you do. It really doesn't make much sense to keep it too big and to try to analyze it later. If you really need to investigate *every keystroke*, use a dribble file - `M-x open-dribble-file`

I don't need to do that though, I was just surprised to find out that the actual history you get in terms of lines is half of the lossage size value at max.
The reason I want a larger history is when I enter a keychord by mistake and unexpected stuff happens it apparently takes me a bit longer than 150 lines to reverse the changes and check things, and by the time I'm trying to determine what has happened the information is gone.

That's exactly what dribble file is for, it keeps collecting every single keystroke within the session. Be careful - it would collect sensitive info like passwords as well.
