*This is the summary of the problem itself*; the normal doom *emacs* command shows the centaur tabs, but the *emacsclient --c* doesnt. I have investigate but im still a noob, so i really dont know what to do here, if you could help i would be glad. This is my tabs configuration on config.el
**(require 'centaur-tabs)**
**(centaur-tabs-mode t)**
**(global-set-key (kbd "C-<prior>") 'centaur-tabs-backward)**
**(global-set-key (kbd "C-<next>") 'centaur-tabs-forward)**
**(setq centaur-tabs-style "slant")**

I believe I’m having a similar issue since upgrading to Emacs 28 but honestly it’s been over a month and I don’t remember the details of when it began. I’ll be watching this post for help

If you're using doom then you don't need the first 2 lines of that config.
Remove those and instead just make sure the `tabs` module is uncommented in your `init.el`. It uses `centaur-tabs` under the hood anyway.

i look, and in the *init.el* i dont have *centaur-tabs*, only *tabs*, still, thanks, i will continue checking

That's the one you want.
Uncomment that, close emacs, and do a `doom sync`. That will add `centaur-tabs` without needing to add anything to your `config.el`

Emacsclient can do some odd stuff iirc, but I’ve not used it in years. Ie emacs has some elisp that takes at startup.. but if you’re using emacsclient your startup is long sgo, so emacsclient may not hear about those things. So some things you can catch a hook for emacsclient tontrigger those parts of the config to occur.
Which stuff needs to happen there? Things like fonts and themes iirc ..
Tabs? No idea, never used em. I prefer good buffer listing packages instead of always there screen clutter.
