I've encounter situation when I have file, e.g `/tmp/TestFile1` saved and it's impossible to switch (or create) file using `C-x C-f` to file `/tmp/TestFile` because completion always enforce to open `TestFile1`. I've tested on `icomplete-mode`, `fido-mode` and `vertico`.
Is it way to override the completion in some situation and open desired file?

Try `C-j` instead of `RET`.

Try C-f, it works in ido-mode

You can try `C-p` and then `RET`.
It works well in vertico for me.

Thanks, I did some mess in keybindings for more convenience. My current Icomplete configuration:
```
(icomplete-mode t)
(icomplete-vertical-mode t)
(setq icomplete-scroll t
icomplete-show-matches-on-no-input t)
(define-key icomplete-minibuffer-map (kbd "<return>") 'icomplete-force-complete-and-exit)
(define-key icomplete-minibuffer-map (kbd "<tab>") 'icomplete-force-complete)
(define-key icomplete-minibuffer-map (kbd "S-<return>") 'icomplete-ret)
(define-key icomplete-minibuffer-map (kbd "C-j") 'minibuffer-complete)
```
`icomplete-ret` does job done for this case
