Hello people.
Its been a while since my last post on zetteldesk.el. I am verry happy to announce that my package zetteldesk.el is finally on MELPA. Also, since the last time I posted here there have been 2 extensions added. One for handling literature notes better as I needed that myself and despite them being org-roam nodes, I wanted some specialized behaviour for them. The other is to integrate the package with org-remark. Namely, I wanted the ability to be able to annotate the \*zetteldesk-scratch\* buffer which is not associated to a file, something org-remark is (for good reasons) unable to do.
I would love if you could give this package another look as r/emacs' contributions to this have been a major help for me in this past. Thanks!

How is this better than org ran without it?

Super cool. I'd recommend crossposting to /r/orgroam

Thats a weird thing to ask. How is a package's extension better than the actual package. I mean, this adds things to org roam, it's pointless to compare it to org-roam

Thanks for the effort! After reading the README I find it still hard to understand what the package actually does. My current understand is that it shows you all backlinks? How does that differ from the `*org-roam*` buffer or from an Index Zettel with forward links?
Some screenshots with explanations at the beginning of the readme could help in this regard. The gifs are quite hard to understand.
The motivation is clear and it's super interesting! So it would be great if you could clarify what zetteldesk.el does.

The core idea is that you select an arbitrary amount of notes with one way or another and the zetteldesk functions allow you to filter your org-roam repository to only view those nodes. Then it allows you to order them in a way you deem correct by inserting them in a buffer and inside that you can read all of them together to get a better feel for them.
Those are the 2 big parts of the package, filter your org roam repository, insert large chunks of your org roam repository in a buffer to view them in a coherent way

That sounds awesome! I'll check it out.
The collection part wasn't that clear to me from reading the README alone. Maybe you can use Jethro's public Zettelkasten to demo it at the beginning of the README

Ok, thanks for the suggestions I will think about it. I am rather busy these days however so I doubt I will have much time to do changes.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask here, or on github or sth. Peace
