[Question] Doom-modeline on active window

Hi there! I don't use doom-emacs, but enjoy having doom-modeline installed. The question is whether anyone has been able to configure showing doom-modeline only on the active window, saving screen real state for all the windows that aren't focused. Thanks!

After trying and trying, I ended up using https://github.com/kiennq/emacs-mini-modeline.

I'm think the modeline belongs to a window so even if you disabled one window's modeline in a vertical split the other one wouldn't extend the full frame width and spacing issues would remain. `doom-modeline` already conditionally displays segments depending on whether a window is active (for example, the `global-mode-string` is only shown for the active window). Not sure if this is a configurable setting but you could also advise the remaining segments to not show. If you want the full frame width it could get hacky, but maybe someone else has already solved this.
