Hi, the headline may be misleading.
The point is that when I press TAB, I get information in the mini-buffer about whether it was expanded or folded.But I can't see anything unless I click into the buffer.If I call the same command (org-cycle) via M-x, it works like everywhere else I'm used to. Hopefully the picture will make the problem clear. I'm running on a Macbook Pro, Emacs29.Anybody? Thanks...

I have installed Emacs-plus@28 and this problem is not there.I
I have got an older 29 build on another laptop and this problem is not there neither.
I will stay with 28 for now.

EDIT: The momentary fix offered there is to evaluate (setq org-fold-core-style 'overlays)
