Hi, I am trying to make my own emacs config, I have been watching System Crafter's video on how to and I am getting this error, I believe it's related to use-package but I can't pinpoint it: Debugger entered--Lisp error: (void-variable -p) (package-initialize -p 'use-package) (if (package-initialize -p 'use-package) nil (package-install 'use-package)) eval-buffer(#<buffer *load*> nil "/home/ROOT_USER/.config/emacs/init.el" nil t) ; Reading at buffer position 1154 load-with-code-conversion("/home/ROOT_USER/.config/emacs/init.el" "/home/ROOT_USER/.config/emacs/init.el" t t) load("/home/ROOT_USER/.config/emacs/init" noerror nomessage) startup--load-user-init-file(#f(compiled-function () #<bytecode 0x157304553c75>) #f(compiled-function () #<bytecode 0x157304553c89>) t) command-line() normal-top-level() Here's my barely started config: [https://pastebin.com/JRnhCiGL](https://pastebin.com/JRnhCiGL)

As the error message suggests, there's a problem with this line: (package-initialize -p 'use-package) This isn't right; there shouldn't be a "-p" in that. So it should be: (package-initialize 'use-package)

He probably copied that wrong, that should be: (package-installed-p 'use-package) package-initialize doesn't take a symbol as an argument and is already called
