It mentions the built-in "elisp-benchmarks-run" but that doesn't appear to be built-in on Emacs 28.

Thanks for pointing this out. Correcting this now -- I didn't realize this was a separate package that I had installed.

Neat, I’ll have a go at running the benchmarks tomorrow, on machines I have available :)

The benchmark's `delete-region` are bad somehow according to native-comp: ``` Compiling /Users/atemu/.emacs.d/eln-cache/28.1-1b9d2058/elb-smie-b726078f-b6419601.eln... libgccjit.so: error: gcc_jit_context_new_call_through_ptr: mismatching types for argument 1 of fn_ptr: freloc->R64656c6574652d726567696f6e_delete_region_0: assignment to param 1 (type: struct Lisp_X *) from (long)2 (type: long) Debugger entered--Lisp error: (native-ice "gcc_jit_context_new_call_through_ptr: mismatching ...") comp--compile-ctxt-to-file("/Users/atemu/.emacs.d/eln-cache/28.1-1b9...") comp-compile-ctxt-to-file("/Users/atemu/.emacs.d/eln-cache/28.1-1b9...") comp-final1() load-with-code-conversion("/private/var/folders/xp/9_ry6h9x6l9gh_g32qspz0_400..."
