I cant get tsserver to start on emacs for linux

I recently switched to using linux as my main os but when configuring emacs I run into this weird issue where I can't access the PATH the same way i did with macOs The specific error I keep running into is: /usr/bin/env: ‘node’: No such file or directory when I try to run tsserver... Here is what I did to get some of the stuff I need from path.. (setq exec-path (append '("/usr/local/bin") exec-path)) (setq exec-path (append '("~/.nvm/versions/node/v16.15.0/bin") exec-path)) Anyone got any suggestions on what I can do to fix this ??

Okay so the explicit path stuff I passed is not being set.. is there an example that will set the entire path for? On osx it was soo much easier to get the path working the way I wanted it to

I thought exec-path-from-shell was only for macos?
