Can I give arbitrary colors to my Org headings?

So I'm writing fiction using Org Mode, which is obviously incredibly useful. Each heading contains a specific scene, and in that way I always know what piece I'm writing and where if fits in the plot. One thing I used to do when I outlined on paper was to color my cards according to the subplot they represented, and I think that would be useful on Org as well.
