LaTeX macro help in Emacs

Is it possible to get LaTeX macro descriptions in Emacs? Something like the describe function feature but for LaTeX macros.

Doesnt auctex do this? If not, bind your favourite key combo to copy the text at point and open a buffer with the output of `latexdef %s` or something. Although that won't give you package macros.
