Synced group tasks in org mode possible ?

Curious if anyone has a workflow for managing tasks which allows multiple users to create tasks and modify there status ? A bit like you can use agenda and org mode personally but in a way that any tasks are available to all users, got a small team of dev's who all use emacs so be nice if we could integrate into our workflow if possible with out managing separate task lists? Or any other options with nice emacs integration both jira and trello never worked that well when we tried in the past.

Maybe those tasks in a file in a git repo?

I guess that would work just means you have to constantly remember to sync the repo, hoping for something a bit more automatic, push and pull on save a thing ?

Very probably yes, put it in a hook for each save. :)

Put the files in a folder you sync with syncthing. Then add the folder as a project or to your org-agenda files

Would it work to just put the tasks in an org file on a shared file system? With auto revert it will update whenever anyone saves a change. Maybe use tags to indicate who owns the task?

[Filestash](https://www.filestash.app/) supports Org, which may be helpful.

hum this could be an option may give it a try

potentially that would work, I guess you would get conflicts potentially with this method, which may be rare enough to not be an issue.

This is an interesting option, not heard of it before will have to experiment.

I did find [https://github.com/ryuslash/git-auto-commit-mode](https://github.com/ryuslash/git-auto-commit-mode) which lets you enable it from .dir-locals which you could commit to a repo and make it a project so its auto applied when loading.
