I've tried most of the top results when I search "disabled auto formatting emacs LSP mode", and issues like [this](https://github.com/emacs-lsp/lsp-mode/issues/1342) haven't really led me anywhere. I have an autoformatting thing on save (which is being buggy but that's another issue I'll figure out later) but I don't want to save every millisecond and have my code jump about (a solution I was using for a couple minutes until I was annoyed by that as well).
I'd like just to fully disable any of this automatic stuff Emacs is trying to pull on me so I can just go back to learning/doing stuff.
Sorry if I sound annoyed, I've just been having issues with this for like 2 or 3 days now, and I'm relatively new to using Emacs to program instead of just for org mode and stuff lol

I don't remember Emacs -Q including lsp or auto formatting I'd gather its in your config which you don't understand.

Wow that's embarassing lmao. Yep you were right, I went to go double check through my (rather short) config for lsp and c++ stuff, and it was a single line I had copied from a sample config for c++. Sometimes it's just stupidity ig. Thanks

Don't feel bad. I'm much less confident in what I've written on average than what Emacs developers wrote. Always assume the problem is you because smart or not it probably is.

You are using company-tng frontend most likely due to using evil collection - they have a setting to turn that off in evil-collection. The other thing is to turn off on type formatting.
