Basically, if I hit `O` in evil mode, and then start typing something on a new line, the autofill menu goes into a weird place. It seems to only occur if I hit O, and I've been confused as to why. I turned off the ref thing in LSP mode since I thought that could've been glitching it, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

u/hvis, any clue?

actually, can you test with lsp-ui-sideline-enabled being off?

I'm not really well-versed in the details of the Evil integration. Nor do I use any Vim emulation myself. Any problems should be reported to the authors of said integration. IIRC it resides in Evil proper. But there's also some stuff in https://github.com/emacs-evil/evil-collection/blob/0ce1ea96b4d53bbe10b70274a3174d5ea2f31fef/modes/company/evil-collection-company.el. So it depends on what the user has installed.

Just tried. had no luck. I could keep trying disabling other stuff and just sitting and testing it a bunch, but it's honestly not too annoying given that I usually edit in split sized windows anyways, and it's restricted to the window occupied EDIT: Disregard beneath, I'm stupid and couldn't find clang-format for some reason ~~Unrelated, but I just had another issue pop up if you could help. This is my first time using emacs to program instead of vim, so I'm having some minor issues with some other lsp features. Do you happen to know how to disable the lsp autoformatting (e.x. braces being pushed to a new line, or public/private in classes to the start of the line)? I'm holding off on making another post since that seems kinda spammy, and I just started to look for a fix (I'm probably having issues because of bad search queries lol).~~

You may try also with company-posframe frontend.

also, it looks like the dialog is offset with the amount of the line number fringe. You may try turning that off too.
