Segfault building Emacs 28.1 on armv7l

I'm trying to build Emacs 28.1 on an RPi with Raspbian. Specs: ``` Linux weefree 5.10.52-v7l+ #1441 SMP Tue Aug 3 18:11:56 BST 2021 armv7l GNU/Linux ``` Emacs build configured with: ``` ./configure --prefix=/opt/emacs-28.1 --without-x --with-json --with-native-compilation ``` Build fails with: make[2]: Entering directory '/tmp/qC7TOyomw6/emacs-28.1/lisp' ELC allout.elc make[2]: *** [Makefile:316: allout.elc] Segmentation fault make[2]: Leaving directory '/tmp/qC7TOyomw6/emacs-28.1/lisp' make[1]: *** [Makefile:350: compile-main] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory '/tmp/qC7TOyomw6/emacs-28.1/lisp' make: *** [Makefile:436: lisp] Error 2 Anybody else run into this and (hopefully) know a fix? **Update:** adding `--disable-year2038` to the `./configure` args seems to have fixed this!

Is this a clean build? I've had problems with native comp and segfaults that were solved by nuking the local copy and starting over with a fresh source tree. You also might want to check if the libgccjit version is high enough, although if the configure script passes it should be good enough. If you can't fix it, definitely ask over in the dev.mailing list to see if you have any ideas.

Clean build from a downloaded tarball. I was getting a warning about `time_t` not being big enough to support dates past 2038, so I looked in `./configure --help` and found `--disable-year2038` as an option. Adding that in allowed me to build. I've updated the post to reflect the solution.
