I’m guessing this is the parentheses factory which makes it all possible.

In truth this is the Empresa Armazenadora de Chapadão do Sul. You know, EMACS!
(I think this is a storage company of a municipality in Brazil, Chapdão do Sul)

*You think so.* That's because of the clever disguise.
It is indeed a photo of the parenthesis-producing machine à gaz that underlies Emacs.
Patches welcome.

I prefer hand-forged myself.

This whole time I’ve been using my own parentheses like a fool

I was in this place one day not knowing how sacred it is. Pure innocence of my youth. I was baptized a few months later.

This is maybe a wild idea, but how much money would we need to make a logo of emacs and place it to the left of the E on the building. I think there's a decent chance that if we pay them for this task, that they'd agree to have that as a sort of niche tourist attraction

Brazil was my first thought when I saw this pic for some reason. I know this country too well 😂

I think they're always better when you make them at home, rather than buying them pre-packaged from the shops.
maskedvandal · 2022-04-17 23:28
Lol! This post made me literally laugh out loud, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing, but thank you nonetheless. 😄💯

I'd guess anywhere from $200 to $500
