Hi,
Yesterday I upgraded from Emacs 27.1 (Installed via [emacs-mac](https://bitbucket.org/mituharu/emacs-mac.git)) to Emacs 28.1 (installed via Homebrew).
Everything seems to work fine so far, except Arabic ligatures are broken: for instance, لا (ل followed by ا) only shows a broken line. با and نا are also affected, and only the first half of the ب and the ن are shown.

Another thing I'm noticing is that punctuation behavior got worse: if I type a comma, for instance, it's shown at the far right of the sentence, until I type the next letter, and then the comma is where it should be.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
