I'm not sure how many other developers this will be useful for, but for a while I've been looking for a tool to generate bitfield diagrams, which are very helpful for me to understand fields of ARM or x86 registers, network packet headers, etc. I found a package [here](https://github.com/Arth-ur/bitfield) which worked well, but I wanted to integrate it as smoothly as possible into my note taking workflow, as otherwise I probably wouldn't have used it as often as I would have liked. So I looked into how to write an org-babel package to execute the external bitfield diagram generation program using the input from the source block. I couldn't find any good docs on how to write a package like this, but after looking at some other simple packages in the org-mode source code I figured it out.
This is my first emacs package, let me know if you have any feedback :)

congratulations! That is the hacking mindset I adore: you fixed your problem and shared with others :) I also learned these diagrams existed lucky me!
