Help figuring out why I can't bind a Helm command to space

I have been reading http://tuhdo.github.io/helm-intro.html#orgheadline21. I have been trying the shortcuts suggested, which is (global-set-key (kbd "C-c h") 'helm-command-prefix) (global-unset-key (kbd "C-x c")) I had the `helm-all-mark-rings` set to something (I forget what because I have been trying get it to work). I have `(global-set-key (kbd "C-h SPC") 'helm-all-mark-rings)` in my init. Saving and doing `C-M-x` then `C-c h spc`, the key works and shows in whichkey. If i restart emacs, the binding does not work. I have tried `spc`, `space`, `<spc>`, and `<space>` in upper and lower case. I tried to bind backtick instead of space, again works with the initial eval, but dies on restart.

I think that should be ``` (global-set-key (kbd "C-c h SPC") 'helm-all-mark-rings) ``` perhaps?

Was tested prior tov posting. Works after `M-C-x`, but not after restart.
