How to display math in editor using emacs with markdown-mode?

As title says, I'm looking for a way to display LaTeX math expressions inline in the editor. I've tried latex-math-preview but it shows up a new buffer. What do you use to achieve this? Thank you in advance for your help

Have you experimented with texfrag? It’s available on Melpa.
