Seeing "vs" in the title I thought it was going to be a comparison (and wondered why no `consult-line`), but this seems a very good idea, thanks.

Yes maybe vs is not the right word other than that good article, I never got into swiper due of some subtle difference I never got pass compared to isearch

I'm still unconvinced swiper or equivalent *replaces* isearch. I use both.

None. It's using Emacs GUI minus furniture (menus, etc) . Has some additional build options for macOS enabled via Homebrew's [emacs-plus](https://github.com/d12frosted/homebrew-emacs-plus) recipe.
