Hello,
How do you have your emacs setup for typescript and javascript?
I tried to install Tide according to the documentation but failed.

If you want people who know something about typescript and javascript and Tide to read your question, I suggest you don't make the *only* thing that people see when scrolling through the list of posts be the amazingly generic phrase "Emacs config".

How did you fail? We can't guess at what problems you're having.
Put more effort into writing a good question, and you'll likely get a useful answer.

Thank you very much for the suggestions.
And with the configuration it does not give me an error as such I just do not get the autocomplete or the shortcuts that are shown in the documentation do not work as such, so I was looking for some configuration to guide me.

I use Doom Emacs for TypeScript (Angular) development daily. Do you have your own config instead of Doom?
hkjels · 2022-03-26 12:04
You’ll want to run a language-server and a client for that in Emacs. There’s Eglot and LSP-mode
Horrih · 2022-03-26 12:32
Web-mode + lsp-mode + npm install typescript-language-server

If I have my own configuration, I try not to consume too many resources, how doom is that?

I tried with lsp but it did no give me the autocomplete and many times it transpiled the ts to js
hkjels · 2022-03-26 13:39
The language-server should not do transpilation. In addition to a client for the server, you’ll need something to present capf. Something like company-mode

Lsp mode is a godsent
