Changing font has no effect.

I must be missing something, but when I follow the directions [here](https://github.com/hlissner/doom-emacs/blob/master/docs/faq.org#how-do-i-change-the-fonts) I see no change in the font of my Doom Emacs instance. I'm trying to switch to JetBrainsMono. Anyone have any tips for big nubs?

Did you run `doom sync` to update your changes? You can also run it from within emacs via `doom/reload`
