Hi there,
I had to use vscode/intellij and want to back to emacs. basically all I need is ok exept the multiple cursor select and moves that I miss a lot.
I want to add up or down multiple cursor from where my cursor is and from that add text or have the availbility to put all the cursor to end of line with ctrl+e.
here is a example in [video](https://webm.red/view/ao1H.webm)
I tried C-x SPC but selectio nis a bit lilmited from where I start and to add text to EOL, string-regex is like too restrictive or complicated just to add some text with return etc...
any idea on how to do that?

If you download the package [multiple-cursors](http://elpa.nongnu.org/nongnu/multiple-cursors.html) you can emulate that feature, and it works well enough.
That being said, you should keep in mind that multiple cursors are basically just interactive but more restricted keyboard macros. It is worth understanding them, instead of just using multiple cursors for everything.
And it is up to you, but rebinding C-e seems like something I'd think about twice (though nothing bad should happen if you decided to do so).

For this use case the rectangular selection should be more than enough. Press `C-x SPC`, move your cursor down/up and press `C-t` to start editing across lines.
For any more complex cases I really recommend reading up on [keyboard macros](https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_node/emacs/Keyboard-Macros.html). Specifically `C-x C-k r` might be interesting for you in simple cases.
There is also [multiple-cursors.el](https://github.com/magnars/multiple-cursors.el), which looks the closest to what you want, but it's also the buggiest.
