Ctrl+f before and after for the pictures!
Awesome. I just tried out gdb and was disappointed with the lackluster information.
I'm still on 28.0.50, I guess I'll have to upgrade to *another* WIP version :-).

Ahhh, finally I can stop using gdbgui. But have to wait until 29 is in beta

Rading through that bug report thread was a little infuriating.
tl;dr: Someone (I will call him OP) made the feature request, but there was no emacs developer in charge of the code that needed to be changed, so OP was kindly asked to implement it himself. OP actually did and sent a patch. But the patch was big enough to pose copyright issues, so some paperwork needed to be done, i.e. OP had to sign away his copyright, which was all fine by him. However the form apparently required his employer to confirm and sign that no tranfer of intellectual property has taken place.
However while OP was looking for someone at ARM, the legal department stepped in to say, that signing this disclaimer could "open a legal door which could expose intellectual property in the future." From what I can tell from the thread, the disclaimer might have been about contributions to gnu, and not just emacs specifically, and due to some old contracts ARM can contribute to binutils which
The conversation derails a bit about intellectual property, open-source contribution during employment, and whether or not a part of the patch could be implemented without the legal paperwork.
Anyway the patch is decided to be unusable for now, until OP gets the legalities sorted out. 8 months later OP gives the ok and it only needs a look-over. 2 years later the changed get merged...
