Use in-buffer-browser in Emacs build without xwidget support

My Emacs (27.1 from Debian 11) is build without xwidget support which means that the in-build browser does not work. Is there any other package that makes it possible to see a browser or html renderer in an Emacs buffer? I would like to use that e.g. for Markdown previews etc

The Emacs Web Wowser (EWW) is built-in and useful for this kind of thing. It uses shr-mode (Simple HTML Renderer) under the hood.

Please put more effort into your questions. You've asked three similar questions within the span of an hour: - This one - https://www.reddit.com/r/emacs/comments/tikbj3/markdown_preview_in_a_second_buffer_not_in_browser/ - https://www.reddit.com/r/emacs/comments/tijx5i/inbuffer_preview_for_emacs_own_markdown_mode/kz Notice how your question is getting more specific each time you ask. That's good, but try researching enough so that you can get to that specific question before asking others for support. Demonstrate what you've already tried or are aware of in your questions. There are no guarantees when asking help from strangers, but generally speaking: the more effort you put in, the more effort others will be willing to put in.

I am really sorry. My apologize. I am a heavy user of stackoverflow and other stackexchange sides. So I know how to "ask good questions". ;) I was not aware that reddit plays in the same level. I am new to reddit and it' style feels a bit "relaxed" to me.

Mhm... Nice but feels like lyx. I wouldn't call this "rendering". The visual result is to minimal for me.

SHR supports images, CSS, and proportional fonts, which is more than adequate for rendering Markdown, which is what your said you wanted. Just no pleasing some people.
