Markdown preview in a second buffer (not in browser)

You could use eww as the browser to open the preview.

Any reason it needs to be MD as opposed to ORG?

I am not sure so please correct me if I am wrong. But org syntax is not markdown. I am a heavy orgroam-user (not org).

I'm wondering if whatever you're doing with MD could be done with org though. I know that org syntax can be easily converted to MD, and that github even accepts org documents as a readme.

OK if you think so. I am not aware of a HTML rendered in-buffer output for org. Can you give me a hint about it?

Org syntax renders as you write it. It'll look a little different if you use it as a github readme, since github uses some special snowflake rendering for it.
