I recently swapped from Ivy and Flyspell to Vertico and Spell-fu. Now, whenever I try to correct the spelling of a word with `ispell-word`, instead of having the possible choices appear through Vertico, they appear in a pop up window at the top of the screen, and I can press a number to select the desired word.
I think it should be possible to integrate the spelling completions into Vertico - I know that Doom Emacs does this. Does anyone know how to set this up correctly? I was recommended the "spell-correct" package, but I can't find it.

In my Doom setup, `M-$` is bound to `+spell/correct`. Interestingly, there is a bug here, when I press `M-x ispell-word`, it looks like `M-$` is bound to it. But when I press `C-h k M-$`, I see that it is bound to `+spell/correct`.
Maybe you just look into Doom's source and adapt somehow it's `+spell/correct`, `+spell--correct` and `+spell--correct-interface` functions to your non-Doom emacs?
https://github.com/hlissner/doom-emacs/tree/master/modules/checkers/spell --- look into the autoload directory mostly.

See [`flyspell-correct`] (https://github.com/d12frosted/flyspell-correct).

But he said he switched to spell-fu?

How does this work with spell-fu?
