The sublime Joy of Emacs / Org Mode

Status-Detective-783 · 2022-03-19 03:44
As a newbie, I occasionally (maybe once or twice a week now) learn some new powerful feature of Emacs or Org-mode. Then I sit back, laugh in wonderment, and bask for a few moments in a sublime joy. Twice in one day now. I ` C-c c ` org-capture several notes earlier today. And I just now finished setting up and did ` C-c C-w ` org-refile a bunch of trees to another file. :)

I felt that way when I discovered org-tree-to-indirect-buffer which allows you to edit different parts of the file in separate buffers :)

omg! literally what I was looking for! For context, I am preparing for an examination, and am using org mode to time myself, track my mistakes, yada yada, with each paper under a separate subheading. Earlier, I had to worry about changing the wrong part of the file. No more!!
